Brian Adams (co-founder)
Over the past 10 Brian Adams has trained with many of the UK`s top Mixed Martial Arts fighters gaining an extensive knowledge of many Martial Arts. In 2001 Brian was very lucky to meet 5th Dan Jiu Jitsu instructor Graham Turner. -
Gareth Johnson (co-founder)
Gareth holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate Ju-Jitsu (NAKMAS) and 2nd Kickboxing (BFKKO). Gareth has a number of years experience in a variety of styles including Thai Boxing, Boxing, Greco Roman Wrestling and more. -

Colin Howells
Colin first started martial arts at the age of 5 in the style of Shotokan Karate. He always had an interest in the martial arts and combat sports throughout his younger years. -

Mok Rahman
Having trained with Brian Adams of South Coast Submissions for a number of years, as well as training in a variety of other martial arts, Mok has become an accomplished coach. Holding a Personal Trainer qualification we wells as being a Pro MMA Fighter, Mok is not only able to motivate, he also inspires! -
Wayne started off his boxing & coaching career in the Armed Forces – learning his trade and establishing himself – he quickly became the assistant Royal Navy Coach - gaining a wealth of experience.
Upon leaving the Navy – Wayne continued coaching and re-established Portsmouth University Boxing Club – taking them to 5 English & British university Championships and making them the most recognized University boxing team in Europe.
Wayne is a Senior Qualified coach – and a high tier event coordinator.

Neil Hughes
Having originally trained in mma in Portsmouth and spent 6 weeks at next generation academy in America, I started training at the Gorilla academy and competed in mma. -

James Brum
I began training in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) as a hobby whilst at University. After completing a Sports and Exercise Science degree in 2008 I settled in Portsmouth to pursue a career in MMA. I trained at South Coast Submissions in Gosport under Coach Brian Adams. I competed at a Semi professional level obtaining a record of 4 wins and 1 loss.

others achieving theirs. I feel that it is very important for everyone to have some kind of physical activity in their lives for both a physical and mental point of view. For me it’s Martial Arts!
